"Martial arts are codified systems and traditions of combat practices, which are practiced for a number of reasons: as self-defence, military and law enforcement applications, mental and spiritual development; as well as entertainment and the preservation of a nation's intangible cultural heritage. The objectives of this workshop are : • Development of his/her coordination and agility for the quality use of leisure-time activities. • Experience and learning positive health skills and concepts. • Developing self-defence skills and other basic motor abilities. • Developing movement skills related to healthful living in today's society. • Developing decision-making skills, presence of mind through actual experience. • Expressing and understanding creative, cooperative, competitive, and assertive behaviours which are needed and encouraged within society. • Learning self-discipline and good sportsmanship.
